Healthcare Disease Prevention and Collaboration needed R&D around system components that would facilitate such activity effectively.

Patient’s health data and contact information in one place is important to enhance this messaging system and allow the system to identify right message for the right recipient. R&D of Collaborative model and requirement analysis for the system was performed. System requirements were difficult to envision as the methodology was developed for a different society and a different healthcare delivery system. A thorough understanding and analysis by a resident educator was needed to capture right requirement translations. The solution emerged as an integrated admin and clinical EMR system that allowed patient messaging.
